Subject to approval, you can nominate a second driver to use the vehicle for incidental personal use, however only one driver may use the vehicle for ridesharing.

INSURANCE INFORMATION

The insurance policy covers the liability of you and your passengers from the use of the vehicle. It also provides comprehensive vehicle cover for most day-to-day driving, including using the vehicle for business use. Most importantly this includes using the vehicle for ridesharing.

Please note: Insurance coverage is specified in your rental agreement and only valid if you adhere to the conditions which are provided to you at the time of rental. We also present an option to reduce the liability for a great price.

There is $2000 excess if you’re at fault in an accident. In cases where you aren’t at fault, your excess will still need to be paid to process your claim, however will be refunded to you if you did not cause the accident at all (and this is not in dispute), and provide sufficient information about the other responsible driver.
